These Terms of Service govern your use of the False Profits website and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and you receive an order confirmation. Prices and availability may change without notice.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. You are charged once per order through our payment processor, Base44 Payments, on its secure checkout page. Card details are not stored by False Profits.
Preorders
Preorder items are charged at the time of purchase and ship on or before the estimated shipping window shown on the product page, at checkout, and in your order-confirmation email. Shipping windows are estimates and may change. If a preorder is significantly delayed, we will notify you and you may request a refund for an item that has not yet shipped, in accordance with applicable law.
Shipping
We ship to the contiguous United States at a flat rate of $8 per order. Orders of $99 or more ship free, but only when the order contains only stocked items — orders that include print-on-demand items always pay the $8 flat rate. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations. Items fulfilled by False Profits and items produced by Tapstitch may arrive in separate packages with separate tracking numbers. In-stock and preorder items also ship separately. You are charged $8 shipping once per order, even when your order ships in multiple packages. Returns and exchanges
All sales are final — we do not accept returns for change of mind, subject to applicable law. Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Size-exchange requests must be submitted within 5 days of delivery and are subject to approval and availability. Print-on-demand items are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Sales tax
Sales tax is calculated based on the delivery address shown at checkout, not a single flat rate. You are responsible for any use tax owed in your jurisdiction.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including images, designs, and text, is owned by False Profits and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of liability
False Profits is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or its products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, where we operate.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The version shown by the “Last updated” date applies to your order.
